If you ever have a chance to hear her GO! She is of Haitian descent but was born in New York. Now living in New Orleans she is a former member of the Carolina Chocolate Drops. She has two side instrumentalists/vocalists that perform with her. The music is an intensely tantalizing mixture of Creole blues/jazz/folk. Instrumentation includes Cello, Viola, Banjo, and Guitar.
